My rock nyc New Year's Resolutions -by Woody Fuller

Peace out 2010, whats up 2011!

1. I will go to at least three (3) live music performances per week. This stretches from catching Sir Elton John at MSG when he comes to town in march to passing by an open mic night in LES, but could be too easy to accomplish with the chance that I accompany Shinobi Ninja on their Rock Hood Tour to SXSW.

2. (The reason I chose the above picture)- I WILL fall off my board, but I need to remember, “No worries”, and to get my sh!t together so that I’m ready for the next wave.. because its gonna be a gnarly one; I’m not going to want and miss it.

3.  Be less of an asshole. Consisting of, but not limited to.. 1. being more considerate and sensitive of others and their beliefs and ways of thinking that are different from mine. 2. Have more patience with the stupid ass, semi-retarded people I am in contact with everyday while booking shows, contacting venues, and dealing with various artists. 3. my interactions with all the beautiful women, ( I truly believe all women are beautiful), I encounter in NYC.

4. Develop my musician interviewing skills, (which currently suck), so I can better extract the heart and soul from an artist’s music and better share that with my readers.

5. Spend more time listening to music.. my iTunes is getting ridiculous. Will I ever be able to knock it all out?

6. Do something great for someone in a worse position than I.
