1. Save Some Time To Dream – John Mellencamp – Hey, don’t blame m, I just review em. Off his new album in which, in typical fathead fashion, he wrote a song a day for 16 days and recorded a song each at various American Monuments. Pathetic, right? But these is really great. Low key, typical raspy vocal, but a nice electric guitar being finger picked and a good melody. the lyric is mindless slop.
2. Hard Night Out – Professor Green
3. Yeah Yeah Yeah – New Politics – From Copenhagen, home to the blondest blondes I’ve ever seen. These guys are a great little rock band. And free on itunes by the way.
4. Hang With Me – Robyn – Better than the acoustic version and that chorus is wow.
5. Who’s That? Brooown – Das Racist
6. Roll Over Beethoven – Jerry lee Lewis – He can still pump that piano. I can remember seeing Jerry Lee on TV when I was 5? 6? he was pounding the keys to his piano with his foot before jumping on the piano top and dancing. That was it for me. Rock has been my obsession ever after.
7. I Need You Tonight – Professor Green – Love that telephone to jump start it.
8. I Loves You, Porgy – Brian Wilson
9. That’s How Strong My Love Is – Bottle Up And Go
10. Head Over Feet – Alanis Morrissete
