1. I Need To Know Where I Stand – Rhett Miller – The only good song off the album, the latest with Old 97's is even worse. Also: the concert was awful compared to his solo set a year earlier. This one is pretty good but…. bot enough.
2. Peacemaker – Green Day – Great gypsy rock bomb thrower.
3. Everybody's here – Brad Paisley – He doesn't want to spoil the party so he'll go…? First single off the album, and better than anything on the current one.
4. Just Snap Your Fingers – Off the criminally neglected Jaggedland. Until the ultimate end, yes, indeedy.
5. Temecula Sunrise – Dirty Projectors – Excuse me if I begin to reach the conclusion 2009 was a much better year for music than 2011. Just on a song by song basis, 2011 has nothing to compare to this so far.
6. Leftovers – Jarvis Cocker – A great album that nobody really noticed at all, had this song with the aging Lothario claiming, he is about to get to the hugging and kissing.
7. Day 'N' Nite – Kid Cudi – Back when his pothead having a panic attack was new and better.
8. A Change Is Gonna come – Adam Lambert – His inability to replicate this masterpiece (better than a damn thing all season long on AI) has lead to the man who should be the standard bearer for American Idol being anything approaching a serious attempt to break a music superhero, into yet another guy with bad management.
9. I Know You Want me – Pitbull – Better than he is in 2011, and he is great in 2011.
10. Rock That Body – Black Eyed Peas – Early single off the upcoming masterpiece.
