1. A Freak Needs Company (feat Bono And the Edge) – Patrick Page – Yes, it is as terrible as any U2 song recommend by Rolling Stone could possibly be, maybe worse. Disco? It ain't even four on the floor. But it does have a handful of things going for it 1) the entirely risible Reeves Carney ain't involved, 2) The Green Goblin character deserves a song to shine (though this probably isn't it), 3) it is a USEFUL song, a showstopper in intent if not in delivery (one assumes, I haven't seen it). Put it this way, the best of an exceedingly lousy lot.

2. Nothing But Love – Brian Wilson – On closer listen, I can't hear Gershwin at all. Sounds like Wilson in the 21st century with all the things that implies. I would love to hear the original. Apparently it is base on a song fragment dating from 1929.

3. Rain Over Me (feat Marc Anthony) – Pitbull – This ain't house, it is a modified merengue.

4. Enchanted – Taylor Swift – I still think the songs are too long but some of the album is kicking in finally.

5. Last Friday Night (TGIF) – Katy Perry – Strangers in beds, poundings in bed… did we kiss? Well, do I remember those days.

6. Don't Be Mad At Me – Cliff Richard

7. Own It – John Carter – Barrel armed blues bruiser.

8. Go Out And Get It – Black Lips – best song on the album, but what does that mean?

9. Stereo Hearts (feat Adam Levine) – Gym Class Heroes – This is gonna break pop BIG TIME -a song of the summer if it gets lucky enough.

10. Lighters (feat Bruno Mars) – Bad Meets Evil
