My Fave Tracks, Thursday, January 13th, 2011 -by Iman Lababedi

1. Pack Up – Eliza Doolittle – As soon as I caught on to the “Such A Night” lift, I fell in love with it. PS I read on Tuesday that after one day this is the 16th most played song on pop radio.

2. Hold It Against Me – Britney Spears – Sure, the lyric is dire. But the beat is pretty damn awesome.

3. Animale (Datsik remix) (feat Dragonette) – Don Diablo – My sister was asking me what it means: it means the synth tweaks sound like an electrical storm dying slowly.
4. Marathon – Tennis – married couple come across coy but not twee.
5. Stained Glass (Won’t You Let Me Into Your Heart) – Wavves – Talk about ripe for religion
6. Rainbows In Gasoline – The Ghost of A  Saber Tooth Tiger – An unqualified success.
7. Together, Anything’s Possible – Darius Rucker – I hate feel good songs. they make me feel lousy. Not bad, but… nope, i have my rules…
8. Black And Yellow – Wiz Khalifa – Pittsburgh’s finest… but what does that mean?
9. Shell Games – Bright Eyes – I was reading Bright Eyes in the Stone about the bloke doing the speaking parts. Sounded interesting. but not so interesting I’d remember it.
10. Love All Round – Tina Dico
