My Fave Tracks, Saturday, July 9th, 2011

1. Rocky's Theme – Rocky Business – As intense a rock rap live experience as you've ever seen, they don't translate as well on recordings. But they will.

2. Manhattan (I'm Done) – Old 97's – Sure, it is as great a song as Rhett and the guys have come up with since "No Baby I". Still, the case against nyc is all circumstantial.

3. Over here – David E. Beats – This guy, Mr. White House to you, gets it right on record. Maybe because his back up tapes are already ready.

4. Ghetto Dreams (feat Nas) – Common – The best rap since Lil Wayne's "John".

5. Let Love Grow – Dolly Parton

6. My Name is Trouble – Kerin Ann – I figured Regina Spektor filled my quota with Russian-Jewish singer-songwriters. BUT Regina plays piano and Kerin plays guitar.

7. Hotel Room Service – Pitbull

8. Waka bake Shake – Fidlar

9. Tonight Tonight – Hot Chelle Rae – A great summer song, because, it's alright, alright.

10. Summer Song – The Homecoming Queens – Another spirt of the Summer, spanking sax song.
