1. There Goes – Alan Jackson – That 34 #1’s is the album that keeps on giving. It is so full of riches it takes forever to reach the middle of it. This is such a lovely ballad, you wonder if it its an old George Jone number. Well, it is old. Dates from 2001.
2. Poses – Rufus Wainwright – It evolves from self centered desire gazing to prismatic axioms.
3. Innocent People Cry – Gregory Isaacs – Helen and I were discussing where people find songs now there are so few radio fans. I found this one on Keith Richards Rolling Stone reggae rarities list. Keith bought it in Kingstown, I bought it on Itunes.
4. Play It Loud – The Black Eyed Peas – “Lennon and Marley are my Presidents” Ha! A pledge of allegiance to something we put in our ears.
5. Remember – Ramona – Acoustic blues simmer change up from Brighton’s best
6. Upside Down – OFF! – Loud fast rules.
7. Heathen Child – Grinderman
8. The Prodigal Husband – Tim Kasher – Sounds like he has been bonding with Conor
9. Vampire Nurses Never Die – Phoebe Legere – Ode to the Prince of Darkness replete with scary effects from 1996… I think this is where they “Twilight” series from.
10. Winter Games – Superchunk
