Despite my sincere fear of rising the ire of my co-editor, let’s be perfectly clear about one thing. If their latest was half as good as their last one, MCR would have sold fine.
Instead, the endlessly named last year atrocity was an abysmal mess , thereby making a mockery of MCR’s comment: “Rock’s in bad shape. It’s not cool to like rock music these days, and I think that’s really cool. It gives danger back to it.”
oh please.
T-Rex at their best were never threatening and they whipped the floor with MCR.
If they could do something half as good as The Black Parade maybe we could talk.
