So Mrs Coldplay is going country in the upcoming movie ‘Country Strong’ in which she plays an alcoholic country music singer, married to Tim McGraw and working on her comeback tour. Of course, Gwyneth Paltrow asked some musical advises to her husband Chris Martin but I really have a hard time to see her in this kind of role. And didn’t she already sing in Duets? Yeah, that was so memorable!

Trite, banal, cliché? For me it is all the above, I don’t say it’s bad if you like this style, but it’s the typical country song you have heard or, if you are like me, refused to hear 10,000 times, it is the same old tune that Faith Hill or Reba McEntire have sung all their life. Paltrow even manages to sound like them, I bet people are gonna praise her for this. May be Gwyneth Paltrow wants to jump on the Taylor Swift’s bandwagon (this girl is everywhere!)
Meanwhile, Gwyneth will be performing the song at the Country Music Association Awards on November 10th.
