Lady Gaga called Morrissey’s Year Of Refusal the best album of the year. I thought it was a disappointment but I also forgot it in the midsts of the tons of music I listen to. I sure didn’t forget 2006’s Ringleader Of the Tormenters, his most openly gay and most completely terrific album of the decade with the shoulda been a contender “I Will See You In Far Off Places” -perhaps the most wholey original take on the war with Islamist extremists ever written.
