When you passionately believe in something it goes without saying that there are times you’ll make no sense.
Everyone of us have gotten into an altercation and when we ran it back in our minds.. WTFkd at least one statement we used as factual debate.
I have often resorted to ‘oh yeah?… oh yeah?’… cuz its a hell of alot better than what my boy Morrisey did.
As we’ve covered (and adore) former Smiths meister and poofy emo crooner is a very strong vegan and protector of animals.
In speaking with the UK’s Guardian newspaper, on the topic of Chinese zoos and circuses, mentioned the “absolutely horrific” conditions the animals living conditions are. To quote Morrisey
“Did you see the thing on the news about their treatment of animals and animal welfare? Absolutely horrific. You can’t help but feel that the Chinese are a subspecies.”
Well I have to agree and disagree with him here. I wouldn’t narrow the ‘subspecies’ bit to the Chinese exclusively. I would deem anyone capable of inhumane treatment of any living thing as a ‘subspecies’, that would include people like Ted Nugent.
Politically correct is still something to be considered.
Do I consider this a faux pas? Not really, just the convictions of a man with an agenda, but I’m sure its offended some.
But guess what makes me happy and what I believe someone as intelligent as Morrisey has as ulterior motive.
His blatant racist statement was blasted EVERYWHERE, thus focusing attention on what is a legitimate atrocity. Zoos, circuses and shows of exploitation are in fact an atrocity.
Way to go Morrisey. Method to the madness, peace to you.
