It’s an amazingly beautiful day in the North East and the start of the weekend.
I know my darling Iman is off to see the Pinstripes but the Magpie and I are getting Indy and heading the the Webster Theater to check out Minus The Bear.
This Seattle based band is making major headway supporting their latest endeavor Omni, which if you read us you already know is streaming on their KCRW’s website. This is Minus The Bears 4th release using the same producer ( Joe Chiccarelli) that shoved The White Stripes and My Morning Jacket.
The Magpie, huge fan. Me? Stoked.
This band has some of the coolest song titles of all time including
“I Lost All My Money At The Cockfights”, You’re Some Sort Of Big, Fat, Smart-Bug, Aren’t You?”
So if you’re in Hartford CT come on out and buy us a beverage.
