Ever since the dancing started, I can not recall anything better to dance to than Sir King of Pop and his vast array of jams he graced our world with.
My favorite out of all these classic MJ jams, by a long-shot, no questions asked, is “Will you be there.” I honestly didn’t know the title for of this particular song for so long, only referred to it as THE song from the movie Free Willy.
There are more popular Jackson songs, ones ranked #1 a record amount of times. Songs that inspired great, (maybe best ever) music videos; “Thriller”, the first of its kind, changed the music video world forever. Songs with epic dance moves and others with intense pelvic touching.
However, “Will You Be There” takes the cake. In my mind it’s the purest, best vocal performance, and that choir in the background could get a paraplegic into his dancing shoes.
