1. It Will Rain – Bruno Mars – Not a thought in his pretty little head 'cept where's the next line coming from, but the guy is a top pop songwriter, and this track from the eagerly awaited "Breaking Dawn Part I" is smart and upbeat and downbeat at the same place.
2. The View – Lou Reed And metallica – It sounds like Lou Reed croaking over a metallica backing track. I wonder why.
3. Brendan's Death Song – RHCP – Very strong, very melodic, ver powerful track off their newbie.
4. Mint car – The Cure – So poppy and so light it seems to be bouncing off the walls.
5. Breathe – Taylor Swift And Colbie Caillet
6. Ghost On The Dancefloor – Blink 182 – First RHCPs, then Blink 182, must be old rockers day at rock nyc. The album is very good and this highly polished rock gem is a pleasure: smart lyric, smarter chorus.
7. Keep Your Head Up – Andy Grammer – A big hit from the former busker. But shouldn't it be keep your tail up?
8. Mental Torture – Lisa Burns – This is pretty excellent atmospherics.; heavy brooding, with a voice from the pits of hell grunting and a woman screaming here and there.
9. Miss You – The Rapture – I can't hear this band, maybe it's me, but they leave me cold and all the handclaps in the world won't save em.
10. Fire – Bruce Springsteen – His sexiest song ever!
