1.Boom – Wild Flag – WF have two subjects, music and romance, this is the latter and a smart, sexy and clever angular art rock attack on the subject.
2. Happy Rovin' Cowboy – Hank Williams – His theme song? Off the new release The Legend Begins and I don't know who is excavating all this stuff but they are doing God's work.
3. Girlie Girlie – Sophia George – This is so much fun, it feels like a novelty track.
4. You Can't Put Your Arms Round A Memory – Johnny Thunders – Always a poignant song and only more so with the passing of time.
5. Rock N Roll With It – Billy Burnette – The "Marie Marie" star is a true rockabilly great, this is timeless stufff.
6. Pass At Me – Timbaland feat Pitbull – This makes it all the way. Timbaland's best work in years.
7. All My Rage – Laura Marling – Sounds like straight up folk. Best song on a disappointing album.
8. Careless Love – Wynton Marsalis And Eric Clapton – New Orleans I can hear, Clapton takes a back seat to the horns.
