1. Nothing Left To Lose – The Pretty Reckless – Does Taylor Momsen know Don McLean? Hard to say since she lives in such a bubble. But, she does a classic Mclean idea (can music save your moral soul?) proud on this hard rock ballad. Grade: B+

2. I Am Your Leader – Nicki Minaj – I wasn't convinced by her first album and am not thrilled by sophomore effort. Better at hip hop than pop and rap than either, the rap here is too weird. Grade: B

3. 50 – Odd Future – One year later, even Rolling Stone have jumped on the bandwagon. Grade: B+

4. Ayo Technoloy – 50 Cent – Remember when Curtis was going head to head with Jay-Z? Maybe he won and we didn't notice. Grade: A-

5. In The Morning Light – Yanni – Like getting mugged by angel dust. Grade: B-

6. Celebrate – Smokie Nofu – If Smokie had a better voice, he'd be crossover. Grade: B

7. Eddie Vedder – Local H – Best line? "That's it, I quit, I don't give a shit". Grade: A+

8. Lebron On – Obie Trice – Maybe it's the sample? The rapping is really good but the songs don't stick. Grade: B

9. Turn Up The Radio – Madonna – Best song on the album. Grade: A

10. Down On The Loewer East Side – Justin Townes Earle – Like a smoke filled jazz room. Grade: A
