1. Ruby, Are You Mad At your Man – Carolina Chocolate Drops – The album is very good, but not this good. It puts the blue into bluegrass and slaps about every instrument in the room.
2. King Herod's Song Mike D'Abo – English Vaudeville t featuring the bloke from the bloke who made "Quinn The Eskimo" palpable for the great unwashed.
3. Gospel/Grace – Frankie Rose – This typifies all her usual problems with concentrated sound only the melody is better.
4.Hollywood Swinging – Kool And The Gang – Because it's Kool the hook is a bass hook, but because it's disco, it gets all its shading from the horns.
5.Twenty First Century Boy – Sigue Sigue Sputnik – T-Rex meets Gen X with foresight to spare.
6. You Just Might Be The One – The Monkees – So, maybe Nesmith was the one. Right?
7. Vowels – Spice And Time – Grimes – Sounds like Madonna circa "Holiday".
8. Gone Tomorrow – Lambchop – This song couldn't be more beautiful, a perfect pop creation with a great baritone.
9. Star Collector – The Monkees – Mean put down of groupies -but catchy, "How can I love her when I just don't respect her?" I dunno though,…
10. Star Position – Marcus Hull
