1. California – Rufus Wainwright – From his most New York City, not to mention his best, album, Rufus peers across to the other side of the country and overhwlemed with choice… decides to stay in bed. Classic.
2. Ten Million Slaves – Otis taylor – Going further afield from the album, I found this piece of blues weirdness. Sorta like Ben Harper if Harper didn't suck.
3. Parted Ways – Heartless Bastards – Best song of the album, folk rock till the end when it becomes an electric freak out.
4. Cosmos 7 – The Fall – Almost commercial. I mean thisclose.
5. The Trouble With Never – Van Halen – One of the greatest smartasses in the world lives up to his rep.
6. Free And east down The road I go – Dierks bentley
7. Human Upskirt – Pissed Jeans – If I was 17 years old, my dream concert would be Pissed Jeans opening for Odd Future.
8. Never, Never – Eric Contractor – Great pop song.
9.We Are Young – Fun. even the chorus is improving.
10. Elegance – Michael Crawford – Best line: Savoir Faire? We reek of it.
