1. I Found Dream – Marilyn Monroe – Only a verse, but it offers Monroe singing Hungarian(?) folk song very, very purely. Monroe so overshadowed herself, that her ability to be anything but a movie star was invisible. A doomed woman unable to maintain the illusion.

2. I See Monters – Ryan Adams – Haunting song about a fragile woman.

3. Next Girl – The Black Keys – Swampy blues catchy groove. Their best song.

4. Thief Of Fire – The Pop Group – Timeless  weirdness -all dischord and funky bass.

5. Party In The USA – Miley Cyrus – Boxed in as Hannah Montana, here she found a way out with Dr. Luke.

6. Candy – Frankie Rose And The Outs – Early 60s pop rock plus reverb and a strange iguitar fingered break.

7. Lonely Boy – The Black Keys – Better now I've heard it live

8. Someday (You'll Want Me To Want You) – Patsy Cline

9. Ruby Soho – Jimmy Cliff –   "Destination unknown…" Superb version

10. The Backson Song – Craig Ferguson, the Cast – Should win an Oscar for best song.
