1. Moonlight Becomes You – Bing Crosby – In the middle of "On The Road To Morrocco," da Bing sings this ballad to Dorothy Lamour and steals her from under Bob Hope's, er, nose.
2. Talk That Talk – Rihanna and Jay-Z – Can't say I am thrilled by Hova's rap but Rihanna is in top form, the electro beats snappy suckers, and the sample? Biggie.
3. Jackie Said "So" – The Individuals – One of my faves of the New York, power pop, 1980s, undeground scene, is a study in acoustic restrain and psuedo folkie psychedelia post- VU pop delivery.
4. Something's Gonna Happen – Ronnie Spector – Ronnie sings the fuck outta this knock out Crenshaw cover and the band have TWO way cool instrumental breaks.
5. No Spare parts – The Rolling Stones
6. If The Shadows Could March 2 – Cabaret Voltaire – Remixed by Johnny H. Kirk so rattles like key chains from hell.
7. Over My Dead Body – Drake
8. Been There Laltely – Slash – His post GNR career feels like one long search for a lead singer. Myles Kennedy does the job as well as anyone.
9. Lights – Elie Goulding – Way too high pitched for my ears, though after hearing her live the electro pulse, drum heavy pop makes more sense.
10. The Recursive Girl – Fucked Up
