1. Play The Guitar – B.o.B. feat Andre 3000 – Electric guitar is like the great black art form ceded to Lenny Kravitz and (with better results) Gary Clark. This is a great rap by B.0.B with two dueling, not guitars, but samples, and a slightly underused Andre.
2. Livin' In The Future – Bruce Springsteen – Fans who want to shut me up about the Boss' finite abilities as a songwriter, could stick the album this came off. But then I'd just remind em the Magic album is five years old.
3. Go West – Pet Shop Boys – Is this the greatest gay anthem ever? The problem is its geographic specificness and its silent fade out (will somebody please edit it out) till you reach the admittedly beautify hidden song snippet. However, in its sincerity they resurrect one of the Village People's greatest moments, and make it better.
4. It's Your Amazing Grace – Glen Campbell – As Martin Amis once noted, when everything else is gone all that remains is love.
5.Shake It Out – Florence + The Machine – We are all patiently waiting for the tour.
6. Never Stop – SafetySuit – Drips with egotism, like a full of himself Springsteen (that was a joke). Please stop.
7. I Won't Give Up – Jason Mraz – He has his moments but this ain't one of them.
8. Homeward Bound – Rhett Miller – Straight forward, acoustic, pretty enough. Has problems with the higher notes so he ignores em.
9. Take Me I'm Yours – Squueze – Great lick during intro.
10. More Than This – Roxy Music
