1. Sidecar – Kathleen Edwards – A great song which seems to jump upwards with a discovery of a new love and the thrill of discovery. The melody is just lovely, "Wake up, wake up, wake up, I want to take you…" is the sound of a woman on the first day of love. Shaking her man, pushing him up to share a world which isn't the same any more. It has changed on her, it is happier, more cheerful. It is amazing the way she captures the moment, it bubbles out.
2. We Belong – Pat Benatar – There is something like a memory song hidden here though it doesn't really exists. It is what time has us bring to it.
3. I Love The Nightlife – Bronski Beat – Brings house neats to a disco hit.
4.You Da One Almighty Radio – Is this the best remix? Maybe… They are all terrific but this may be the best of em.
5. One Voice Together – Martin Sexton – Hot on the heels of yet another terrific album, last year… a terrific pop song by a great s/s
6. Wait And See – Holy Ghost
7. Comeback Kids – Sleigh Bells – Poppier than I'm used to hearing from the band, this sounds like a hit to me.
8. American Girl – Tom Petty – His finest moment: there is something so in the suburbs of this, so constricted and expandng at the same time. A national anthem.
9. I Gave You All – Mumford And Sons – I still don't get these guys.
10. Official Girl (feat Lil Wayne) – Cassie – This is a very good r&b song and Weezy isn't much needed by the way.
