Hurray!! New Marilyn Manson is on the horizon.
According to Twiggy Ramirez, Manson’s bad ass guitarist the new lp is ‘almost’ done and will have a more ‘punk rock’ feel.
What the hell is punk rock these days anyway?
It used to be that whole 2 min speed core and done repetition, now bands like All Time Low are called punk.
“It’s kind of like a little more of a punk rock Mechanical Animals [Manson’s 1998 third album],”
Manson is far too theatrical to be punk. Punk is 3 chords and out.
Manson is a floor show, maybe he has sped up the tempo or added more powerful drumming but no way in hell can he be punk.
I want to see him live wicked bad though, so I’m rooting for this one.
