Male Pattern Baddness At R Barr, Thursday, June 28th, 2012 Reviewed

Thursday night I headed down to the Bowery, not far from CBGB’s old haunt, to a place called the R bar to see the band; MALE PATTERN BADDNESS. The R bar is a great venue for live music.  R Bar has a decent stage in the back and plenty of space for hanging out in the front, they even have a few poles scattered around for the ambitious!!

Male Pattern Baddness attracted a lively and mixed crowd. The lead singer and rhythm guitar, Jason Frazier has a commanding stage presence and a powerful voice. Dave Fernandes played lead guitar and paired with Jason Liles on bass, they delivered a solid performance. Tim Lykins, on drums kept everything tight. They are four real estate professionals by day and Rock ‘n” Roll Bad Asses by night.

They dressed in sixties mod type outfits with the dickie bowties and these guys really rocked the house playing such songs as; Superboy Bar Crawl, Sherlaine Burn You Down, Tiny Girl Vampire.  They gave into the audiences encore request and closed with Prince and the Revolution “Let’s go crazy” Which brought the house down!! This band created a great atmosphere and the audience loved their show.

If you are in NYC and want to see a great local band with an eclectic flair check out MALE PATTERN BADDNESS.  I promise you will not be disappointed !
