Nevershoutnever!, who I’ve tried to forget about recently, came out with a music video for a new song “Seewhatweseas”. I think it’s time for him to fix that space bar.
The music video is, surprisingly, very good and very original. Almost like a dream, it was light and fluffy. But if you weren’t already aware that he smokes marijuana, that video is a dead giveaway with the dream sequences and crazy idea behind it regarding the sea. I’m straightedged, and I’m proud of it.
As for the song, it is horrendous. It sounds absolutely nothing like the old Nevershoutnever! and doesn’t even have a good hook. Instead of taking a leap forward, he took a mile’s run back. Completely disappointing and hard to listen to, it is unfortunate that NSN has taken this kind of path.
Life may be a melody, but I believe it’s time for Nevershoutnever! to find some new ones.
