I had an argument with somebody the other who had the audacity to suggest Lady Gaga is better than Madonna ever was.
Time may prove me wrong but for now, Gags "Born This Way" and "Judas" do not compare to, say, Madonna's second album which included the title song "Like A Virgin" as well as "Material Girl", "Dress You Up" and others…
I might add that Lady Gaga will never (because it is too late) turn the pop world on its head the way Madonna did at the MTV Music Awards with "Like A virgin".
And Lady Gaga will grow old.
And may find herself pimping her daughter Lourdes. I'll forgive Madonna letting her daughter design clothes. A waste of time but better than forming charities, raising millions, and not building schools.
And absolutely better than writing songs with the 14 year old girl. People are allowed childhoods, you know. Now Madonna wants to butt into and launch Lourdes "pop music career" – Jesus Christ, Madonna has become the Mubarak of pop. This isn't a dynasty. Leave the girl alone to find her own way.
The song is "It's So Cool" (which it won't be) and was released as a flip side in 2009 . It is , of course, useless pop disco product. Fortunately for Lourdes, Madonna had her daughters vocals removed at the time. Unfortunately, she is putting them back
