How is this for a stat pop pickers? Between the four artists they have had 55 top ten hits and sold 200 Million records.
And they are touring together in November under the "Once In A Lifetime" banner.
Who are they?
David Cassidy
Hot Chocolate
Leo Sayer
Smokie
I saw David last year at BB Kings and he was pretty good and I met Errol Brown a coupla times back in the day. But I have never seen Leo Sayer. Leo was a giant of modern disco who had a chance of being Elton John and couldn't do it. Smokie were part of the 1970s glam pop movement and didn't crossover.
This is a UK only tour which sucks, right? I think they'd have to replace Smokie, maybe Gilbert O'Sullivan, but I see no reason why this couldn't fill 3000 seat arenas here.
So bring it over, guys.
