Sweet mother of has beens its Pat Benetar and REO Speedwagon heading out together this summer on the ‘ Love on The Run” tour
Pat Benetar that spunky little vixen with the overhang mouth who was classically trained it Opera but opted to shoulder shake in “Love Is a Battlefield” instead, along with REO whose lead singer had the weirdest voice inflections EVER.
If you’re a 40 something well maybe you can conjure up your old High School days. But personally I think the memories are greater than the reality for this one.
This is a tour that I couldn’t dream up if I tried. But it starts in Connecticut, sorry.
Uncasville, Conn., at the Mohegan Sun Arena June 24, Rutland, Vt., and the Vermont State Fairgrounds June 25 and Atlantic City at Caesars June 26. Last stop on the tour is Aug. 27 in Gilford, N.H., at the US Cellular Pavilion.
