I think we can all agree Maria Taylor had a terrific year in 2013, not only did she release a great new album (one of my top ten), she also had her stunningly great Bright Eyes plus Maria Christmas from 2002 widely released and, the lucky lucky woman, got to be interviewed by me!
So with new son and husband in tow, and just before Maria’s US “Up All Night” Tour (actually, the tour doesn’t have a name, I named it for her), she is performing a half show with her family live from her kitchen! This is such a fun idea, I wonder why other people don’t use it, Spider Bags and Wesley Wolfe are playing a gig next week in Chapel Hill, I’d love to see it but it is too far so how cool would it be if I could see them on Stageit? I don’t know if Maria is gonna play “You’ve Got A Way With The Light” but please, please, please do!
