One For The Money – Royce da 5'9", Skillz, Diamond D – Eminem made him a star and Slaughterhouse give him some serious competition, but Diamond D is less thrilling here. This is the state of the art in rap, but it lacks something and I don't mean heart, I mean conviction – Grade: B

3. Easy – No Doubt – A dire ballad, worse than anything on Gwen's two solo albums – Grade: D+
4. Strange Fruitation – Lupe Fiasco – Good intentions will only get you so far when your rap is this sorta deep weed Kid Cudi stuff – Grade: C
5. How Do We (Party) – Rita Oro – Rita goes accoustic. She has a pretty voice – Grade: B-
6. Mine Tonight – Dum Dum Girls – I never said I didn't like these guys, I said I didn't like them LIVE – Grade: B+
7. It All Comes Back To Sunday – John Hiatt – Hiatt has two kind of songs, country blues work outs and rock and roll pop songs. This is the latter – Grade: B+
8. Speak In Rounds – Grizzly Bear – Where their tricked out swirls of Brooklynese sound meets rock and roll – Grade: A-
9. Babel – Mumford And Sons – Second off an album that couldn't be more important, second winner – Grade: A-
10 Steady, As She Goes – The Raconteurs – It uses a Joe Jackson emblematic two note beat and made a fortune off it. Which is only fair, since it is new wave – Grade: B
