1. The Boys – Nicki Minaj and Cassie – Nicki's best song since, well it is better than "Starship" if not "Super Bass", has a lovely chorus by Cassie before Nicki trashes that other sex and really very well. Hey, talking of bests, her best rap since "Monster" – Grade: A2. Your Body – Christina Aguilara – Like Mariah Carey, she simply refuses to let her voices do the singing for her and layers the slop on tight – Grade: C
3. I'm Not The Same Without You – Donald Fagen – Sounds like an outtake from The Nighfly, the same lightness on its feet, the same high level jazz smooth perfectionism – Grade: A
4. Celebration – Game – After his masterful Red Nation failed to hit big, he caught up with Chris Brown and released this pop move. It won't help – Grade: B-
5. Slut Like You – Pink – I saw her years ago, opening for Justin Timberlake and riding the trapeze at MSG. Then, like now, she makes hay on her pop instincts and is a bore any way – Grade: B
6. Charmer – Aimee Mann – A fuzzy poppy masterpiece from Mann at her best – Grade: A
7. gun-shy – Grizzly Bear – This isn't mainstream pop, Pink is mainstream pop, this is high quotient pop melodist – Grade: B+
8. Flesh And Bone – The Killers – How popular are these guys? They are one ring above Christian born again rock bands – Grade: C-
9. Beautiful – Carly Rae Jepsen – Justin Bieber shares the verses, and the best song on the album, an acoustic sweet nothing – Grade: C
10. Medley of the Hillbilly Jedi – Big And Rich – Didn't they break up? Every song on their new album squeshed together – Grade:C
