1. No Endz, No Skinz – Big L – From 1600 minstrels, to 1990s gang bangas, they have one thing in common: you ain't got money, no super-honey. The video is a hoot, cinema veritie with the great rapper and his crew on the streets of Manhattan in pursuit of girls with big booties, and the song is so alive it brims over with fun and smarts. Shoulda broken pop. Grade: A
2. I Aint Mad Atcha -2pac – Off his best album, he puts down the gnats and stuff long enough to search out old friends and tell them goodbye. Great sample – Grade: A
3. World Upside Down – Jimmy Cliff- The riddem is very basic and the sentiment self evident, but the production is clean and the vocal first rate – Grade: A-
4. Can I Get A… – Jay-Z – Same story as Big L's just a little later on. With Amil and Ja Rule… talk about last man standing – Grade: A
