1. The Descent – Bob Mould – His first release for Merge proves he hasn't lost a step. Hasn't added a step either. This is pretty good, maybe a little more:  revved up guitars, nearly memorable melody Mould – Grade: B+

2. Feel Good – Eric Benet – Eric we get, the world never forgave him for cheating on Haile, but what about Faith Evans? One of the most underrated singers around – Grade: B+

3. American Capitalist – Five Finger Death Punch – Half hardcore, half metal, and the drummer is good – Grade: B+

4. What Have I Done To Deserve This – PSB – Featuring Dusty Springfield, I bet Morrissey was in tears – Grade: A

5. Waking Up Drunk – Spider Bags – Merle Haggard should cover this modern classic – Grade: A+

6. A Means To An End – Joy Division – A soundcheck version, the vocal is a little muffled but otherwise cuts the original – Grade: A

7. The Way We Were – Barbra Streisand – Like butter – Grade: A+

8. Settle Down – No Doubt – A great return by the skaville society people – Grade: A

9. She's Gone – Hall And Oates – Modern sounds of soul – Grade: A

10. I'm Sorry Baby But You Can't Stand In My Light Anymore – Bob Mould – I'm sorry Bobby, but if "The Descent" is this big return, why is this 2009 song ten times better? Grade: A
