1.Your Body Is A Wonderland – John Mayer – I guess if you were a girl of a certain disposition you might find this enticing but I;m not and all I am wondering is why the hell Morrissey sang this with the Stone Roses in Barcelona. i think I blame Dave Matthews. I think it was he who initiated the entire guitar god as pussy willow. And no, the Rolling Stone interview didn't help. Grade: C

2. It Just Is – Rilo Kiley – yeah, a bummer Smith died. A shame you're not willing to do a damn thing about it – Grade: B

3. We Can't Have Nice Things – Kelly Higan – I hadn't notice the soaring break in the middle – Grade: A

4. Africa – D'Angelo – It's as if Miles Davis circa In A Silent Mood went came down from heaven, formed a funk band and learnt to sing – Grade: A

5. Someday We'll Be Together – The Supremes – Saturday night Jann Xavier performed a version of this for the ages – Grade: A+

6. We Sick – The Icarus Line – An easy band to hate on… but not here – Grade: B+

7. Express Yourself – Diplo – The entire EP is very expressive – Grade: B+

8. Praying Man  – Big KRITS – Excellent BB King sample adds to a haunting rap and a mood of disquiet – Grade: B+

9. Money Won't Change You – James Brown –  But time? Will take you out – Grade: A+

10. Don't Lose Touch – Against Me – Changing your sex as career move? Got it – Grade: A
