1.Turn It Around – The Men – The honest roar of power punk, this is the sorta stuff that puts nobodies like Nickelback and Daughtry into perspective. No, they aren't a Pissed Jeans, but as far as potential rough and ready rock band goes, these guys are the real things. Grade: A
3. No Interruption – Hoodie Allen -"I've got a fake ID and a checklist, it goes never meet a girl on Craigslist…" The guy has a way with a rhyme – Grade: A-
4. Bad Dreams Come True – Wesley Wolfe – here comes Mr. Misery… all melody and misanthory – Grade: B+
5. Rain (feat Sara Kay) – Klaypex – Dub step is like trip-hop, with the hop taken out. Not bad, but if you're a beat addict you're gonna have problems getting off – Grade: B
6. Brendn's Death Song – Red hot Chili Peppers – Some people need a good producer, RHCP need a gifted editor. Grade: B+
7. Whispers & Ashes – Dead Sara – A huge disappointment, great band name, crappy rock song – Grade: C-
8. Redford- Suffjan Stevens – Will this song ever fucking begin? Grade: C-
9. All the Sun That Shines – Peaking Lights – Is there anything worse than well meaning dub step? Grade: C-
10. Vampires – Reminds me a little of "The Rose Of England" -just the piano hook… Grade: A
Here is something I've never done, grade my post! This one is pretty lousy, I couldn't get a handle on The Men song, and it ruined the entire tone for everything that followed. . I try for at least one original thought per review, and here I haven't managed one all combined… no wait, # 8 is pretty clever… I was gonna give myself a D+ but I am upgrading it to C-
