1. Ghost – Cat Cosmai – Blue eyed soul by a big voiced woman doing it old style. The song is killer though the back up singers come on a little Supremes though they could have been brought down a little mix. The bridge is  a glorious construction, expanding the verse and leading her on. The voice? The voice is special – Grade: A-

2. Going Down – Freddie King – The Stones cover was a showstopper, Freddie King a fellow traveller – Grade: A

3. All Down The Line – The Rolling Stones – The horn break is stand out – Grade: A

4. Boring Girls – Pissed Jeans – Everything you love about the hardcore, plus a sense of humor – Grade: A

5. Go! – Killer Mike – Can't wait to wrap up the year, I get to listen to Killer Mike!! – Grade:A 

6. Heart Skips A Beat – Olly Murs – Oh, so I like it now after disssing it last week. It sounded good live – Grade: B+

7. C'Mon – Ke$ha – I claimed the album runs out of steam. It does, this is the third song – Grade: A

8. You Just May Be The One – The Monkees – Who woulda thought that between the stones, the who and the monkees live in 2012, the monkees would be the one to beat – Grade: A

9. In A Big City – Titus Andronicus – OK, folks, I've decided, this is the best song on Local Business – Grade: A+

10. Honeysuckle Rose – Lois Armstrong And Velma Middleton – Was there a better natured singer in the history of jazz than Velma Middleton? Considered a lightweight by some but Satchmo knew better.Velma speaks to us down the ages – Grade: A
