3. Some Jingle Jangle Morning – Mary Lou Lord – The guitar rings like a Byrdsy chime! – Grade: A
4. In A Big City – Titus Andronicus – It is like the curtain rises and there is Patrick days after driving back from Boston – Grade: A
5. Momentary – David Bronson – Comes on like a holding pattern before the big guns on the album and then the end blows you away – Grade: A-
6. The Original Disco Man – James Brown – He wasn't of course, he was the Godfather of soul – Grade: B+
7. Headache – Metz – One of the best punk bands I've heard since Pissed Jeans, the drummer is a thing of beauty – Grade: A
8. Thirty-Three – The Smashing Pumpkins – Billy Corgan is proof that if you hang around long enough, you get cool again – Grade: A
9. Peace And Love – Cat Power – Best song off the newbie? Maybe, thisclose – Grade: A
