Heaps Of Sheep – Robert Wyatt – The prog rock former Soft Machine leader, solo superstar, who for some bizarre reason we have yet to write about on rock nyc, here we are happy to tip the hat to this straight up masterpiece of dreams and strangeness and by the end, as he "wanders ship shape on the shore", we are reminded he is a paraplegic and admire the strangeness and beauty of the dreamscape all the more – Grade: A+
2. Harlem Roulette – The Mountain Goats – The other keeper off an iffy album – Grade: B
3. Quelque Chose De Tennessee – Johnny Haliday – Full blown ballad from the proto-French rocker – Grade: B+
4 Yes, Anastassia – Tori Amos – Just to remind us, Tori is better lo-fi – Grade: B+
5. Now – Matt & Kim – Very synthetic pop moment by real people – Grade: B+
6. . Sweet Spot- Tift Merritt – The thing, the rest of the songs are nearly this good. – Grade: A
