After Lily Allen suffered a miscarriage last year, my co-editor Helen Bach threatened me with bodily hard if I wrote about it.
But i wasn't scared. I CHOSE not to write about Joe Strummer's Goddaughter's sorrows.
And now I chose to write about her wedding to long term significant other Sam Cooper on Saturday, June 11th. Given away by her father Keith Allen in front of 100 guests (I wasn't invited), she wrote on twitter: "I'm GREAT, I'm getting MARRIED EEEEEK !!!!!" Which is awful sweet, right?
Me, I wish she'd go back on stage (I saw her at T5 a coupla years ago and thought she was terrific) but it might be awhile because LILY IS PREGNANT!!!
