I sorta like this idea. Figuring your average ‘fan club’ will hit you with a fee of $35. bucks for a t-shirt sticker and access to a chat board with some contests for meet and greet, presale or early entry, its a bargain
Considering the average ticket fee for The Dear Hunter is appx $15.00, you’re going to want to be sure to catch them as often as possible, and really value the swag,
Oh and hope they stay together for a few more years and aren’t sold or sell their fan club to a third party administrator. I do recall some buzz a few years back when the Matchbox 20 fan club was sold to a new firm to manage and all the ‘old timers’ lost their seniority… then again it was Matchbox so meh….
The Dear Hunter have announced a limited edition lifetime fan club package which will guarantee entry into any Dear Hunter show in the world. Along with the laminated “Dear Hunter Passport,” fans who sign up for the $125 plan will also receive all three of the band’s releases on clear vinyl, a download card with several previously unreleased versions of songs, a digital-only EP featuring three new songs, a handwritten letter by frontman Casey Crescenzo, a signed poster and a personal thank you in the liner notes of the Dear Hunter’s upcoming Act IV.
