Talk about cheering for the home team…
Sir Paul who is becoming my new Bono wrote a letter to the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh of India asking for a national Vegetarian Day to celebrate meat-free living and compassion toward animals.
In India, where  42 percent of 1.2 billion people are vegetarian, due mostly to financial and religious concerns. Strict Hindus and Jains do not eat meat.
So I’m thinking its a sure thing considering for a large portion of the population, far more than Americas 3.2 percent vegetarian, 0.5 vegan, already subscribe to this lifestyle.
And WOW I had no idea I was so rare!
