Lady Gagas 4 Star Rolling Stone Review Explained

Here is Rolling Stone's Lady Gaga stars:

The Fame – 3 1/2 stars

The Fame Monster – 4 stars

Born This Way – 4 stars

Here is what they should be

Rge Fame – 5 stars

The Fame Monster – 3 stars

Born This Way – 3 stars

Why the discrepency? Because Gaga gave their writer a weeks of pime access to the star and also had its sister publiscation "Us" publish a little sovenier for the little monsters. Ergo, the always untrustworthy RS lies to its readers AGAIN.

Having said that, the cover profile by Brian Hiatt is so good. It is a remakable, virtuosistic, true world vision where a neophyte Sefani can't control her mind and thoughts the way, her again, Madonna has done since day one. I would guess this is not the way Lady Gaga wanted to appear to the public: she is not a Bowie or madonna, or a child of Warhol in at least one sense: she isn't controlling the spin. Here the spin is stunningly out of control and you have to wonder what her handlers were thinking of. or you have to wonder how great an interviewer Hiatt is.

The damage done is subtle, there are no drug fueled orgies, or i was raped by my grandparents, there is no "winning" but there is a preponderance of evidence that Lady Gaga is sincerely losing the plot.

For instance, did ya see Lady Gaga on Letterman? Here is Madonna's second appearance on Letterman
