Fortunately… He deserves the cover and there is no rust on him he tours so much. “I wanna show you skills” he says before launching into “Criminal Minded” one more time with Boogie Down Productions… It’s alright with me.
Boogie Down Productions is one of the great crews and they don’t need either the self-congratulations or the putting down of their contemporaries. Where would they be without George Clinton and James Brown? To see KRS-One MCing where he should be is a self-evident slice of history.
And like I said, the scratching was outstanding.
