Kings Of Leon Get Paid Millions, Todd Leibowitz Works for Free: Is This fair?

The new Kings of Leon album, “Come Around Sundown” has its moments – but doesn’t hit its mark.
It is kinda like a sophomore-jinx – even if this new one is not their 2nd album, they had a lot mainstream expectations with Come Around Sundown.
Their last album was great and sold 6 million copies.  That album made KOL a household name.
Some critics are saying that KOL is the U2 for the next generation.  I don’t see that happening.
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t totally dislike this new album.  I think it is mediocre to say the least.  There are some stand out songs such as the first single “Radioactive”.  Iman, our boss, likes “Pyro” – not a bad song.  My favorite is “Back Down South”.
The rest of album is ehh.  A bit slow at times.  If a song comes on the IPod, I probably won’t skip to the next one, but just let it play out.
Hey, I work for free on this blog, so take my review with a grain of salt – and check it out and post your own opinion.
