Kim Phuc At Le Poisson Rouge, Friday, February 4th, 2012

Kim Phuc are visiting all the way from Pittsburgh and they are the face of modern punk. Fast, but not fast enough, loud and loud enugh, they are skilled enough to play any type of music they choose to.

Lead singer Rob Henry is quite normal between songs, but once he starts in, his eyes glaze over and he gets this intense look about him as he goes about his business. The rest of the band mix up up punk with drone and come out on top song after song. They attack everything in sight while seeming to lay back on their heels and wait for the world to come to them.

They have a great EP called Copsucker you might want to hear and they can put on a real show. They only played for 20 minutes but they made a great impression.

Especially Henry, who is kinda scary looking!
