Before we officially anoint Usher the King Of All Things Pop for 2010, let’s give a shout out to Kelis new single “Acapella”, produced by the best around (unless the Ronson album kills) David Guetta.
Of course it isn’t “Acapella” at all though the back ground track is somewhat what mooted than the thunderous Guetta is used to handin’ out and it moves you on upfront tom tom drums where Kelis follows the beat all the way through to the end. What this song and Usher’s “OMG” have in common in a revelling in dance music. More BPMs on Usher but easier for lame asso’s like me with Kelis (it is actually kinda hard to miss it!)
If this is where Kelis’ new album is heading, Usher better watch his back…
