The second song off Teenage Dream is the same name single and it is 100 times better than “California Gurls”. An oddly innocent sexiness for a song that suggests they go “all the way tonight’ is streaming on idolator and here is the link:
Personally? I think it is a fabulous slab of pure pop, maybe a touch overproduced, the old sludge where everything seems to be sinking into the mix, but thats 2010 for you and the song as a song doesn’t need it.
Teen desire comes bubbling lightly through it and really, we need need more songs about teenage lust, or a remembered and still relived love and love, don’t we?
Absolutely knock out. If the rest of the album is this good Katy will be just fine.
