Everywhere I go on the web, there is something related to Kanye West. Best Coast thinks he is god and retweets his rants on Twitter all the time, like this fantastically crazy one:
‘I am a creative person… I’m not a good celebrity but I’m a great artist… I’m tired of using my celebrity to sell my art’.
You have to read it to believe it.
But 2 days ago, Kanye used the shit out of his Twitter account to complain about an exclusive interview he taped on Tuesday for the Today show with Matt Lauer. In the interview, which will air Thursday, Kanye said the comment he made in 2005 about Bush not caring about black people, was made out of frustration because of what was happening in the devastated region of New Orleans.
So basically, he apologized to have said something when under the influence of ‘high emotion’ and not being able to ‘choose the right words’.
And, as everybody knows, Twitter is the brand new tool to express rage and frustration, Kanye went on and on about feeling ‘very alone very used very tortured very forced very misunderstood very hollow very very misused very judged very scrutinized very criticized’… then pursuing with ‘I don’t trust anyone but myself! Everyone has an agenda. I don’t do press anymore. I can’t be everything to everybody anymore … I can’t be everybody’s hero and villain savior and sinner Christian and anti Christ! … I can’t take anymore advice!!! I create, I’m creative, I have a good heart, everyone will see and understand one day.’
I have checked Kanye’s twitter account, and it seemed that most of these endless rants have disappeared, but since many people have copied them (well, 1,579,609 people follow him on Twitter) you can read everywhere that Kanye doesn’t ‘mess with Matt Lauer or the Today Show’ … and ‘that’s a very nice way for me to put it!’ … he even shouted ‘HE TRIED TO FORCE MY ANSWERS. IT WAS VERY BRUTAL AND I CAME THERE WITH ONLY POSITIVE INTENT …’ and adding ‘it’s all a fucking set up!!!’
A set-up? What the problem with that guy? Don’t tell me he was not aware he would be asked about Bush, the ex-president was just in the news describing Kanye West’s comments as the worst moment of his presidency!
Bush and West are two big egocentric anyway. A war criminal who thinks that the worst day of his presidency was when his feelings were hurt and an award-hijacking-rapper who thinks he is responsible of Taylor Swift’s success, really deserve each other.
