Justin Townes Earle On tour
I saw Earle last year at Joe’s Pub and was more than impressed with the country rocker with the famous pa. Funny, charming, a best buddy in tow, and a clutch of great songs off his first album The Good Life.
Unfortunately his second album, Midnight At the Movies, despite overwhelmingly positive reviews, suffered from the sophomore jinx and kinda sucked. And it stiffed. Never mind. The man is on tour and terrific live. No NYC date yet but I’d guess it’ll happen somewhere after Buffalo.
