Hey lets have a telethon!
Justin Beiber likes to use his fame to entice 12 year old girls to donate their allowances to charity.
OK that’s not true but I bet they whine to their folks to help a cause and in this particular case, I say go for it.
The Beib will be joining a lineup that includes Cameron Diaz, Tim McGraw, Randy Jackson, and Robert Redford along with Lady GaGa, (will she glue an oil dyke to her head?) and the man with the suspenders Larry King on CNN Monday night in a fund raising telethon for victims of the BP “spill”
Reports speculate Sting will also be involved. Wheres Sara McLaughlin and her horrific ASPCA songs?
Anyway, the Gulf as we know it is no longer. I do hope all of you had a chance in your lifetime to splash about and maybe see a manatee. I’m glad to say that I have, and my child who was born near that Gulf had the chance to build sandcastles there.
So where the money going?
The United Way and the National Wildlife Federation are just two charities that will benefit from the telethon. No amount of money will help the wildlife and the eco system. You cant reverse this there is no fix and the brilliant dispersant material will never go away. That money should be used to help the residents who’s lives were dependent on that water find a new means of existence.
An oil filled holocaust cant be repaired with money.
The National Wildlife Federation should be sponsoring evacuations for what ever life form is still breathing out there. That’s it.
I don’t mean to get all doomsday on ya, but face it.
The Gulf is closed.
